Inviting Candidates

Once your role is ready, you can start inviting candidates to complete the assessment. This isn't just an application step—it replaces the traditional screen with something far more useful: actual work.

🔗 Ways to Invite Candidates

You can invite candidates in three simple ways:

  1. From Suggested Talent
    If you’re using TalentAlly sourcing, you’ll see surfaced candidates in your role view. Click Invite to send them into the workflow.

  2. Manual Entry
    Add candidates directly by email. Hit “Invite Candidate”, enter their details, and we’ll send a secure link.

  3. Shareable Link
    Generate a reusable link you can share anywhere: email, DMs, job boards, etc. Once a candidate clicks in and identifies themselves, you’ll be able to track their progress.

✅ What Candidates See

When invited, candidates receive a branded email with:

  • A clear overview of the role

  • What’s involved in the assessment

  • Time expectations

  • Tools required (based on your environment settings)

From there, they’ll move through the full experience: pre-task video → technical challenge → post-task explanation → automatic profile generation.

  • Every invite is tracked: see who started, finished, or dropped off

  • Re-invite or nudge candidates at any time

  • Pause invites if you’re not actively hiring

  • All responses feed directly into their SkillsProject Profile
