Welcome to SkillsProject. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SkillsProject website, platform, application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by SkillsProject Inc. ("SkillsProject," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old;

• Have the authority to enter into these Terms;

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration;

• Not be barred from using our services under applicable law.

2. User Roles

SkillsProject supports multiple types of users:

• Candidates completing assessments to demonstrate their skills.

• Employers or Hiring Teams creating and reviewing challenges to evaluate talent.

• Reviewers or Admins who may assess performance or manage environments.

Each role may have different permissions and obligations. You are responsible for any activity occurring under your account.

3. Platform Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

• Share or leak confidential content, assessment materials, or proprietary code.

• Misrepresent your identity or skills.

• Interfere with system integrity or security.

• Attempt to copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.

4. Assessments and Data Usage

• Candidates grant SkillsProject permission to analyze their challenge submissions and behavioral data to improve product features and for hiring evaluation purposes.

• Employers agree to use candidate data only for legitimate hiring decisions and to treat all user information confidentially.

• We do not sell user data. Data may be anonymized and aggregated for analytics.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.

6. Intellectual Property

• SkillsProject owns the Platform, including all content, software, branding, and technology.

• Employers retain ownership of proprietary assessments they upload.

• Candidates retain rights to their responses, but grant SkillsProject a license to use them for assessment, grading, and product improvement.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if you:

• Violate these Terms;

• Attempt to cheat, plagiarize, or game the assessment system;

• Abuse the platform or users;

• Engage in fraudulent or unethical activity.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That assessments are a complete measure of ability;

• That participation will result in employment;

• That the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

SkillsProject shall not be liable for:

• Loss of job opportunities;

• Errors in grading or candidate evaluations;

• Platform downtime or data loss;

• Indirect or consequential damages of any kind.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to conflict of laws principles.
