This Privacy Policy explains how SkillsProject Inc. (“SkillsProject,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you access our website, platform, and services (the “Platform”), including how we use AI-driven systems to deliver skill-based hiring experiences.

We use AI/ML models, including large language models (LLMs), to:
Grade submissions for technical accuracy, quality, and creativity
Generate human-readable summaries of your work
Detect inconsistencies or possible plagiarism
Offer contextualized hints or “Co-Pilot” support during assessments
b. To Personalize Candidate Experience
Our AI systems may:
Recommend next steps based on performance
Tailor feedback or content based on your skills and progress
Match you to roles that align with demonstrated capabilities
c. To Help Employers Hire Faster and More Fairly
We use structured skill signals and AI-inferred insights to:
Provide employers with transparent, skill-first candidate profiles
Compare performance across similar assessments
Highlight strengths beyond a resume or job title
d. To Improve Our Platform
We may use anonymized or aggregated user data to:
Train and fine-tune our proprietary AI models
Benchmark and improve grading fairness and accuracy
Develop new features, dashboards, and reporting tools
We never sell individual user data or allow third parties to train unrelated AI models on your submissions.
3. Your Rights Over AI and Data Use
You have the right to:
Know when AI is used in scoring or evaluation
Request human review of any AI-generated hiring decision
Access or export your skill profile
Opt out of AI-based personalization (though this may limit product functionality)
4. How We Share Your Data
We only share your information:
With employers you apply to or assessments you complete
With reviewers or SkillsProject graders who evaluate your work
With trusted service providers who help us run the platform securely
As required by law, regulation, or court order
We will never sell your skill data to advertisers, headhunters, or third-party AI labs.
5. Security of AI & Assessment Data
We treat candidate assessment data as highly sensitive. Our security includes:
End-to-end encryption for submissions and user communications
Secure cloud environments for AI inference and data processing
Audit logs and role-based access for internal reviewers and graders
Anonymization protocols for training and analytics use
6. AI & Third-Party Evaluation Services
SkillsProject uses artificial intelligence (AI), including large language models (LLMs), to evaluate, summarize, and improve the hiring experience for both candidates and employers.
Data Sharing with External Services
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
Your data—including but not limited to resumes, skill profiles, written answers, code submissions, video recordings, and interview transcripts—may be sent to external services for evaluation, scoring, summarization, or enhancement.
These services may include third-party large language model providers, used to:
Analyze candidate interviews or assessment responses
Generate human-readable summaries or feedback
Support platform features like skill signal generation, coaching prompts, or fit analysis
We carefully vet all third-party providers to ensure they meet strict confidentiality, data protection, and non-retention standards. Where applicable, these providers are bound by data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for any purpose outside of contracted evaluation services.
We do not allow these third-party providers to use your personal data to train their public models.
If you have concerns about AI-based evaluation or would like to request human-only review, contact us at support@skillsproject.ai.
7. Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active or needed to provide services.
You can request full deletion of your account and associated AI outputs at any time.
Assessment data used for system training is fully anonymized and cannot be traced back to individuals.
8. International Use & Transfers
If you are located outside the U.S., your data may be processed in the U.S. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or similar safeguards to ensure compliance with GDPR and international standards.
9. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tech to:
Authenticate users and sessions
Track completion and performance data
Improve recommendations and experience via personalization
You can control cookie use through your browser settings.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or features. Major changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
